I bought a 2011 Silverado 3500 Z71 LT Turbo Disel. I just took it on the first haul of my 28-foot camp trailer completely loaded plus my four wheeler in the bed. I could barely feel it back there. Cruised over Trapers loop with the cruise control set at 55 and it was smoothsmooth and never worked at all. Let me tell you JD was truly awesome. He made wasmy Korean wife very happy treating her with respect and even ofered her a gas cupon for her vehicle. I thought that was an awesome gesture. This is the second time I have purchased a truck from Chris Monson at Young Chevrolet in Layton, at it will not be my last. On both occasions I left more than pleased with the time and effort Chris dedicated to find the right deal. After having Chris help with arriving a decision, my wife and I purchased a new Chevy Silverado. Mr. Monson was very pleasant and comfortable to do business with, making the buying experience very nice. Once we arrived the time to apply for financing, Tyson Walker was introduced. He was also involved in my previous purchase, which was also a delight. Mr. Walker answered all of our questions and was impressively knowledgeable with regard to auto loans and finances in general. My '06 Avalanche was in need of various repairs, (broken exhaust bolt, warped rotors, air bag sensor, worn-out tires, etc.) and I was real hesitant to trade to a new vehicle because I couldn't afford (what would have seemed to be) another house payment!, so I decided to invest approximately $8k and had all repairs done plus lift kit, tires and rims, paint to match fender flares, fresh undercoating and Young Chev was able to do it all within my spending limit and completed it all with blinding speed! 2007 Silverado 1/2 ton. It had been loosing oil at an unexpected rate. We did some maintenance (under the original warranty) and things were better but not completely fixed. This time they went to the next step and replaced pistons and rings. While doing this it was reported to me that there was carbon buildup on the valves and some uneven tire ware. I had them go ahead and take care of this also. I think it might have been even better service if I had been able to see an image of the carbon build up and tire issue using mobile services or e-mail before I made the decision to proceed. I brought in my 2013 Malibu for an oil change and tire balance and alignment. I was told to bring in my vehicle in at 0700 and there would be a person to give me a ride back to work. I arrived and there was no one there and the service shop did not open until 0800. When I came back and had the service done on my car it was quick and fixed the problem I was having.
